The Signature Hotel @ Thapae

Great location. Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff.

The rooms were so comfortable and clean, room service every day. The staff were the best part of the stay. Amara was brilliant, she would cut up fruit I bought every day after Muay Thai sessions (only1min walk away) and make me tea. I look forward to staying here again! The facilities nearby are fantastic, good location. Walkable from multiple night markets, gym and the staff were keen to cater for all our needs. Felt warm and friendly and homely perfect for a solo traveller. I will be returning

The TV had access to channels and multiple language but was not a smart tv. Could easily connect a HDMI though

The room wall was quite thin and we had problem of sleeping while the rooms next to ours talking and making coffee. Luckily, we was able to change the room for next night.

The room was clean, good-sized and comfortable. The beds were really comfortable. The staff was very friendly and prompt when helping with little things that I asked for. It's in a good location, close to the Sunday night walking street, and all sorts of shops and restaurants. It was very convenient.

There are only 2 parking spaces for cars, so it's helpful that you tell them in advance if you are driving a car and need car parking.

Friendly and helpful staff in a very clean hotel. Location was perfect, being just outside the city walls but easily walkable to places of interest. It is set back from the main street so a lot more quiet. Superb vegan restaurant for breakfast immediately opposite.

The location is good. It stays right in front of Tha Pae gate. You can also get to lot of interesting shops along the road in front of the hotel.

The hotel is quite old. For car park, to might have to park in a temple near by

Very comfortable location, not high end, but very co.fortable accommodation, we came back to this hotel when we returned to chinag mai in our trip. Very close to the old city and to the night market. Staff were kind and super helpful.

Central, friendly, clean

Good location, along main road but a bit in the back, so not noisy. Close to the fruit market and riverside. We took a train early in the morning, so it was important for us that the reception was open all the time. Tea available near the reception.

The location is perfect. Between the night market and the old city, right on Thapae main street, yet quiet.The staff were very kind and helpful, facilities were very well and clean.

The hotel is conveniently situated close to the Tha Phae gates and Ching Mai old city. The hotel is a very basic hotel and perfect for guests who are looking for a no frills experience and is great value for money. The hotel is situated within a small lane, which makes it a bit tricky to locate, however, also makes it silent away from the main street. The room is fairly clean and comfortable. The furniture and the wardrobe is very dated, but still OK. The bathroom is good and they provide basic toiletries. Looks like the bathroom has been refurbished recently, thereby making it good. The hotel is also within a very short distance of the 7/11 which is very convenient. Overall it serves its purpose and would definitely consider it as a base for a return trip.

The male staff member in the front desk during night hours is not very welcoming. However, the ladies who are their in the morning hours are very pleasant and welcoming. We arrived in the night, so the initial impressions wasn't great, but it remedied by the morning reception staff. The room layout is slightly weird in the sense there is a cabinet and table which which is in the middle thereby cluttering up the space. The hanging lamp in close to the table is a healthy hazard as it is very low hanging and I bumped my head into it multiple times and I am not that tall to begin with. The lighting in the room can also be better.

Great location, close enough to the old town and to the night market. It was really large room and very clean and a great price. Would definitely recommend.

Shower gels and shampoo was a little sparse.

The location is great, within walking distance of Thapae Gate.

No hair dryer, robe or iron provided. Air conditioner stopped working and they wanted to move me to a different room that didn't have a balcony. I wanted a refund and they refused. We compromised by the hotel placing a fan in my original room and I actually liked it better than the air conditioner! The air conditioner did eventually get fixed but they continued to let me use the fan which I did appreciate.

Clean, quiet, elegant. Good hotel for a reasonable price.
